Defining your spending goals and monitoring them carefully is a complex task. But we are here to make your life easier! 😉
On Mobills it's possible to make a Monthly Budget in a simple and effective way. Come with me and I'll explain it to you!

Creating a Monthly Budget
On the Mobills dashboard, touch in Budgets
and tap 'Set new goals':
You must now enter your total incomes for the month. (You can tap the "Why do we need to know this?" option to understand why we ask for this information);
PS: If you have recipes registered in the previous months, the total of these recipes will be suggested as monthly income.

On the next screen you will choose how much your total goal will be, the total amount you plan to spend during the month (you can also use the option "Why we need to know this" to better understand). You can also use the percentage bar below the amount and feel free to choose the percentage of your earnings that you want to budget.

On the next screen, your categories will appear and you will be able to choose which one you would like to set budgets for.
PS: If you choose a subcategory, the main category (a category in which it was created) will also be selected automatically.
This is the time for you to establish how much you want to spend in each category. It is important to remember that if you select a subcategory, its value cannot be bigger than what was planned for the main category, right?
PS: If the sum of the amounts you entered for each category was less than the total budget, a new plan called "Remaining categories" will be created for each expense you register that are not in the categories previously chosen by you.
If the sum of the amounts placed as planned is higher than the total budget, the total budget + what has been exceeded will be shown.

On this screen, you can choose to receive an alert for your budgets when they reach a certain percentage.
PS: This percentage will be for all categories/subcategories and, if you want a personalized alert for a specific one, just edit it by changing the alert percentage.

Done! Your budget was successfully created. 😉
